Day 7- Declutter your Mind!

Mind is a gifted treasure from the Almighty that can transform into trash if we do not take care of it. Decluttering your mind is essential to get rid of all the clutter that is preventing you from living a happy and healthy life. If you are looking for a way to improve your mental clarity, then decluttering your mind is indispensable. There are many ways and benefits to declutter your mind. Some of these things may include –
Forgive & Forget: Someone rightly said “Your strongest muscle and worst enemy is your mind. Train it well.” Irrelevant thoughts can easily dwell in our minds. This could be an outcome of tolerating intolerable behavior, not reacting to an unpleasant situation, or perhaps an unshared opinion that one can keep contemplating upon. This process of dwelling on extraneous and negative thoughts does not result in anything better but harm the person. The best way to overcome your own thoughts is to forgive other people and forget the not so enjoyable events of life. Letting go is the most powerful way to eliminate doom and gloom, hence declutter your mind.
Meditate: One of the most effective, efficacious, and easiest methods to a clutter-free mind is meditation. Meditation is nothing but a technique to focus on a particular object, thought, or activity. It means naturally one is diverting all the focus from unwanted to healthy, peaceful, and serene thoughts. Hence, decluttering is taking place in an organic form through meditation. Meditation helps people be aware, achieve mental clarity and be emotionally calm & stable.

Schedule: Bring a pen & paper and write down thoughts and prioritized tasks. When numerous thoughts juggle in a mind, it becomes a cluttered space. Penning down your mental activities helps to segregate items according to their importance and urgency. You can mark important dates and reminders on a calendar or in a notebook, and jot down your thoughts on anything that is worrying you in a personal diary or an app. This process gives a purpose to every thought that exists in our mind and eliminates the toxic & irrelevant ones. Thus, scheduling on a regular basis aids to declutter the mind.
