Social media has taken over our lives, so take a day or two off or you can even start by reducing its use. This can do wonders for your mental health and it can help you declutter your life.
Acknowledge and respect that you can’t do everything – We are so used to pushing our boundaries and trying to achieve everything but what we don’t realize is that we can only do so much. Setting boundaries is very important. In order to declutter our schedule, we have to make decisions to eliminate certain things. It’s surely going to be difficult because we are surrounded by unlimited options but we have limited resources. We can’t do it all and acceptance of that will be a step in the right direction to declutter our life.

We are so used to filling our emptiness with materialistic stuff that we forget what really matters. Remember the less you own, the less time you will spend cleaning, caring and worrying about it.

Use this time to introspect and see what motivates you, see what makes you feel human, what tugs your heart.
