She learned zero waste policy from her great grandmother and now, she is working towards it and trying to bring a change through the House of Kheesa. Kheesa which means pocket in Hindi is a conscious clothing and jewellery label based in Noida, India. They are working and trying to make sustainable clothing economical. Being pocket lovers, House of Kheesa love to adorn garments with patches of pockets made out of fabric waste. Fabric cloth like hemp, banana silk, khadi is sourced from small towns in order to support communities that are working on handlooms and other crafts for generations.
House of Kheesa collects offcuts fabric from local tailors for making mindful clothing and consciously created each product considering the longevity of it. Resin and wire are used to make gender-neutral jewellery. In addition, House of kheesa uses metals like silver and copper in their jewellery as well. Keeping intact with the vision of protecting the planet .
